Program objectives
1. Providing students with general psychological principles and laws of human behavior and empowering them. 2. Providing students with a basic knowledge base in the field of educational sciences to enable them to understand the nature of educational sciences and its importance to the individual and the society in which they live. 3. Developing students’ skills in learning, thinking and critical thinking, and using the quantitative approach that enables them to ask questions and answer them through some research strategies. 4. Enabling students to acquire information and scientific facts that help them maintain an understanding of vital natural essences, equipped with knowledge that helps them maintain their health, and learn about diseases, their causes, and methods of treating them.

The Department of Psychology seeks to prepare qualified students with high skills, sufficient experience, and an understanding of the general introductory sciences to join and join the specialized departments later in the college by providing them with the latest advanced knowledge, skills, and information.
Description
1- The Psychology Department describes that during the pre-specialization period, the student is qualified by giving him a general idea of the principles of the basic human sciences2- Assisting the student with all capabilities, including highly experienced faculty members and providing study laboratories and a computer laboratory3-Helping in guiding students and directing them to enroll in the appropriate major for them in the college departments4-Working to develop the current curricula so that they keep pace with scientific development
